The "Sailing" rotor type obstacle free flying vehicle is a prototype jointly developed by the Aviation Industry Helicopter Design Institute and Tianyi. The "Sailing" has ground walking and short-term flight functions, and can become a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft when encountering obstacles. It has functions such as vertical takeoff and landing, forward flight, hovering, and yaw. The rotor system can be retracted and stored in the vehicle body when walking on the ground. When deployed, there are a total of six sets of rotors, providing the necessary lift for flying over obstacles.
